I co-founded PayMongo, a YC-backed payments company in the Philippines, in 2019 and served as CTO. PayMongo built a modern payment platform enabling businesses to accept online payments through developer-friendly APIs and tools that could be integrated in under an hour. Prior to my departure in 2023, the company raised a $ 31 million in Series-B funding.

In 2023, I co-founded PayRex, a payments infrastructure company building a modern, end-to-end platform for businesses in the Philippines. PayRex enables businesses to accept payments and streamline financial operations through developer-friendly APIs and tools that can be integrated in under an hour. After two years serving as CTO, I now lead the company as CEO, backed by Kollab.

Solving my own problems through tech

I focus on running 1 startup, and 1 side project at a time. To cleanse my palate from fintech, I'm currently building Mealy on my spare time. The goal is to solve our every Sunday problem at home planning and preparing meals for the week ahead.

Loves building startups with infrastructure play

I'm interested in startups that solve foundational problems, the kind that sit beneath entire industries. Building infrastructure means creating platforms that other businesses rely on to operate, scale, and innovate. I enjoy the challenge of designing systems that must be reliable, extensible, and trusted, knowing that if done right, they quietly power thousands of downstream use cases.
